Originally coming to prominence as part of the explosion of the ‘Roots’ scene singer-songwriter Carus Thompson is much more than ‘just another Roots act’ and his last album, the lauded ‘Creature Of Habit’ proved that - receiving rave reviews both at home & overseas as well as an A.I.R award nomination. After courting Europe with great success over the past seven years Carus has finally surrendered to the great opportunities beckoning there and he’ll base between France, Spain & Germany for 2010. He’ll say Farewell To Oz with this Acoustic tour, accompanied by old touring accomplice Bedge on piano, violin & mandolin, with a set featuring songs from all his favourite releases. Special guest is new EMI signing Leena, who’s getting a real buzz going with her well crafted acoustic pop tunes.
