One of Brisbane’s most powerful performers - Kristy Apps - will launch her new single and film clip with a very special show in her home town this Valentine’s Day, February 14, at The Troubadour.

‘Pour Me Out’ is the title track from Kristy new album and it’s release comes amid a solid touring schedule and an impressive collection of reviews for the album.

This will be Kristy’s last major Brisbane show before she hits the road once again for a run of dates in Sydney and Melbourne later this month.

Over the last 10 years Kristy Apps has carved her own niche into both the Brisbane and the wider national singer / songwriter scene. Having performed with everyone from Deborah Conway to Pete Murray and Canada’s Ember Swift, Kristy’s energetic and infectious performances, combined with her powerful songwriting ability have won her numerous accolades.

Praise for Pour Me Out:

“On this impressive effort, Apps has found a way to bridge the more intimate and the bolder sides of her songs, and she sounds the better for it.” Album Of The Week – Four Stars. Bill Holdsworth,  Rave Magazine

“Kristy pours out her heart and soul to create this excellent acoustic rock album. Power vocals combined with great rock build-ups add to the impact. Nice one.” Donna Penry, LOTL
“… in terms of quality…she really delivers. What struck us most about this album were the vocals. This young lady has a voice that is as good as or better than most classic pop and rock artists. Mature, thoughtful, pensive, smart tunes abound on this impressive album.” Babysue

The new single, and Kristy’s brilliant new album, are available to download everywhere through SUGARRUSH Records - www.sugarrushrecords.com

Joining Kristy at the Troubadour launch will be locals Lucy Star Satellite, hard touring duo The Lucky Wonders and Sydney’s mcArtney who will also be launching his new single ‘Less Games, More Love’ on the night.kristy-apps
