Early start this week….

It’s all kicking off early at the Troubadour this week so we’re getting a little headstart with the news.  There are a couple of must-see shows this week and you know we’re not the types to just sprout off at these shows being awesome. They are the real deal that true music lovers clamber all over to get to

Tuesday night’s lineup features the magnificent Elana Stone and Brian Campeau. If you caught these two at the Powerhouse Sunday just gone or at Alhambra the week before, then you’ll undoubtedly be up for a second round of the sublime sounds this pair make. The much talked about Passenger from the UK is also on the bill as support as is Jess Chalker.

Thursday night, it gives us great pleasure to host the brand new album launch for Angie Hart. Ms Hart has seen and done it all from fronting alt-poppers Frente to singing at the Bronze in cult TV show Buffy The Vampire Slayer. She’s onto her second solo album called Eat My Shadow and, in all seriousness, we can’t tell you how much we love her here at the Troub so come on out and see for yourself.  She comes with exceptional supports too - the stunning Eleanor Angel and her trio plus a shiny new outfit called Spring Skier (Kane from Hungry Kids of Hungary and Remy from Paper & The Plane).

Stay tuned for the weekend news….
